The top image shows the proposed changes to the floorplan. Basically, we are going to break through the utility room wall with an arch and beam to create an open plan kitchen/ lounge which will suit our cooking/ chatting lifestyle perfectly! The changes to the shelves and cupboards are just ideas at this stage, we will know more after we are in! (Hoping transfer goes through without a hitch!!)
Combining the kitchen and lounge means we are going to have to lay wooden flooring in the whole room, which would be ideal, but expensive.
Lots to think about at this stage.
